The Centre for Water and Energy Sustainability (CWES) is a Malaysian-based organization focused on advancing water efficiency, data-driven management, and sustainable energy practices. Led by CEO Mr. Piarapakaran, CWES develops evidence-based strategies to strengthen water security, sustainability, and effective resource management across Malaysia’s growing industries and communities.

CWES focuses on improving water management through better data collection across industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, while delivering sustainability solutions that address the water-energy-environment nexus and balance resource use with ecological protection. In addition, CWES plays an active role in policy advocacy, advising on long-term strategies for sustainable water governance and resource management.
